Hi all. I am finally posting again. I know I am not very good at keeping on top of this thing. Lately I have not been very good on staying on top of myself. Anyway, I just wanted to give you all an update. Dan made it home Friday after spending 2 weeks in Iowa at a training camp. He did really good in all his classes and is now ready for phase 4 of BNOC in Aug (so he can get promoted). He had a very interesting trip home. They closed I-80 (the main interstate between Illinois and Iowa) due to severe flooding. So from 6:30a.m to 10:30 a.m I was trying to find him a safe, dry way home. Well 8 hours later he walked through the door with some beautiful roses and chocolate (the EXACT way to my heart...he knows me all too well). We are all so glad to have him home. Now he is right back to work and hating every minute of it. Yet he works so hard for us and we are so grateful.
